My first was an IBM 486 sx33 with 4 MB RAM and a 250 meg HDD, 15 inch CRT and both 5 1/4 and 3.5 disk drives.  Spent about $1300 on it.  Less than a year later got another 4 MB RAM for around $160, added a 1.2 gig HDD which was so big you could never fill for around $230 and then a overdrive for the processor to make it a DX2-66.  Now have 12 gig RAM and a TB HDD.  Times have changed.
