southern MN | The cheaper models are wifi only.
The higher end models are wifi and cell phone capible.
Thry are not designed for dial-up modem, nor just plugging in an ethernet from a high speed internet connection.
The internet will come on an antennea one way or another.
They also need to be set up from another computer, through iTunes software. I think Apple designed them as an overgrown cell phone; and we are trying to use them as a laptop.
Might take a couple of more model upgrades before we all get to where we want to be.
