I have a question.  If you run a router that has a built in firewall and you run a software firewall (such as Comodo free) does that help keep online viruses off your computer?

We have yet to get a virus and we run both of those plus AVG free anti virus along with a modified HOST file and SpywareBlaster ( a free program).

Lastly I use Firefox with a couple of addon's to block java scripts, McAfee SiteAdvisor, Ghostery, Ad Block Plus and Flashblock.

Note, been on a computer with a dialup modem and used to belong to Boston Computer society to get programs with a 300 baud modem.  In short I've been online for a long time.

I wonder if the dialup is helping? I mean, they are slow and take longer for downloads and such? Maybe the new versions of virus's need high speed ?
