Shelby, MT | the android tablets are coming out as we speak, alot of them that are out have their drawbacks. Android 2.1, 2.2 was not designed for the larger 10" screens and the apps too. The Android 2.3 that was just released has fixed this and I assume new apps will be out for the bigger screens. Android 3.0 is suppose to be out around this spring and that is suppose to be the tablet version to fully compete with Ipad.
The tablets that I have been watching are the
1. Notion Ink Adam tablet. This so far looks like the best but it is a startup company and that can have its flaws.

2. Viewsonic G doesn't look too bad, if it is given android 2.3

3. Archos has a slew of them out with all of them having ups and downs.

4. Galaxy Tab is the most popular but only a 7 inch. It is out and you can get it anytime...

there are more than that but I have been watching these the most. Motorola is on target to have one out with the Android 3.0 and I gather google is working with them, so it might be the front runner for the next round. | |
