The local hydraulic shop here has a giant roll (like 4,000', the guy that ordered it got an earfull from the owners) of rubber brake line hose. It is small diameter, easy to bend and route, and made to safely handle VERY high pressures. I would not call it cheap, but I plan to use it for some remote grease lines.
