NEMO | Powder River has a value tub and chute for operations of your size and are reasonably priced. I have both a For-most and a Powder River chute. For the money the Powder River is a better buy (chevy) while the For-most is pricey(cadillac). Both get the job done, but have to admit the Powder River is a lot quieter than the For-most.
The major problem with most tubs is that the resulting V from the sweep gate is set up wrong, so the cow's butt end's up facing the alleyway and there head is in the V. Keep the exit point (alley opening) from the tub next to the hinged end of the swinging gate to avoid this and improve the flow of cattle. Quarter tub's work better for this than half tubs.
Just my opinions.
