| Whatever you do, test it on a dry run under load on the equipment you will be using BEFORE you need it, especially if you get a cheaper Chinese one. We've got a 5500w continuous (6500 peak) Champion here, and the lousy thing won't run a 20a 110v mig welder off the 30a 110v breaker without tripping it. It WILL work, but you've gotta keep the wire speed and heat down. The 30a breaker acts like a 15a wall plug. Buyer beware, and test and plan ahead.
