central mo | got a call from a local newspaper in need of some computer help. They've got 8 MACS as well as printers all networked together. Power loss the other day has messed up something to not allow any of them to talk together. I informed them I am more of a PC guy but would give it a whirl. (More of a learning situation in my mind)
I've been around MACS a little bit but have never had to troubleshoot network connectivity.
Any suggestions where to start?
If it were a PC network I would just walk in and reboot the router, make sure it had connectivity, connect PC's to it and see what shares and "stuff" was/was'nt working. But, being Apple I'm not sure if thats what I should do. | |
