Springfield OH | personal opinion here but I used to work for Nextel for several years and did some R&D for Motorola and I can tell you your provider sets the standards for the manufacture ex. Nextel/sprint tells Motorola how durable how reliable and quality of parts to be used on production. so RIM (research in Motion blackberry manufacture) is told by T-mobile cheapen up this phone, and cut out testing and put it into production to cut costs that's exactly what they do. I can promise you if you go to a company like Verzion, you can get a blackberry almost identical to size weight look and operation and it'll be a completely different phone probably runs alot faster and smoother with more app's and less bugs. so if you really like the idea and concept of a blackberry, I wouldn't bail yet. and I can tell you RIM spends A LOT, I mean ALOT more time on quality control than any other manufacture and I'd be willing to bet you'd be very very happy. again IMHO | |
