Wear and maintenance less? Your kidding right? I got 166 acres a row before my openers were down to 13 inches and almost every bearing was out, 4500 acres of corn,brushes and seed disks smoked, 6400 acres seed boots shot and they're soooo cheap, only thing that is not bad is firming points. Case planter units wear worse than any other planter I have run. Go ahead fire away, but those are the facts. FYI, neighbors 1250 didnt make it to 120 acres a row before disc openers were el junko.
