NW MN | Running rural wireless here also and i think ringo is on to it. Too much trafic, does it seem slower all the time or just between 4pm-8pm or so? Our two local providers suffer from this for awile the first one with the service got noticyable slower, then the second company came online and neighbors jumped. First company has since improved in service and now offers higher speeds then the 2nd. Try running a speed test and keep track of times and speeds, try http://www.speedtest.net/ choose the same city all the time, i use chicago. | |
