Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | A couple threads below about failed hard drives got me wondering ?
Solid state drives in the smaller size like I use are pretty cheap. Would a solid state drive to replace or pair with my 8 year old HDD be a longer lasting drive, as it has no moving parts ?
Also I used a program called " Y copy " and a cheap external usb hard drive to back up my computer. It has been months since I updated it,
If I run it again, using Y copy to tell it to copy the internal drive to the external drive, will it just add any new information or will it try to make another complete copy of the internal drive ? |
