Central Indiana | I believe you will most likely have your computer for 3 - 5 years, so think of all the time you be using it and spend accordingly. I like newegg.com - they have competitive prices and the Review Comments are usually correct. For more detailed reviews, go to cnet.com and search under the review tab. Acer has quickly moved up to #1 (or almost #1) in sales of laptops. I've been please with my Acer desktop. Lastly, unless you really need a laptop, stick with a desktop (full size case). They're easier to work on (more room under the hood).
