NW MN | have updated two laptops with win7-one from xp and one from vista--no troubles at all. I think your main trouble could be norton, it is a bloated program that manfucaters get a nice bonus for putting on their machines. Uninstall norton and try either Eset nod32 or even the new microsoft secruity essentials. Uninstall norton through the Control Panel--then Uninstall Program | |
