I think Hughes and Wild Blue share the same basic problems. There are some differences in the service but everyone with satellite internet regardless of the supplier seems to have the same basic issues.
I went from local wireless service to WB. Wireless had gotten so unreliable the last month I had it I was without service 15 out of 30 days. The month after I left them they got their act together. If WB had not made me sign a 2 year contract I'd be gone. I anticipate being offline most of the day if we get the snow they are predicting. We have wireless at Mom's for her and the shop to use. Her throughput isn't as good, downloading takes longer. But in the "day to day" use ... email, AgTalk, etc ... it works so much better it's surprising.
