| Try to find one of the later models. The early ones had more fuel injection and electrical problems.
We have a 94 8670 which had about 3 rebuilds/updates to the injection pump. We had quite a few 3pt electrical problems. The engine needed an overhaul at 4500 hrs.
Overall, it's a comfortable tractor to drive. The trans is very smooth and easy to shift. The hyd system is good.
The supersteer will turn pretty short, but is harder to keep going down the rows when spraying (and other really sensitive operations).
Like the other people said, it's very fuel efficient. | |
