I use nero a lot......... its packaged with the burners i use, When you do the install you need to uncheck a lot of boxes................ it wont take over when you do.

The other thought is this............. 256 Mb of RAM isnt enough to even run Windows very well ................ RAM is cheap these days, upgrade that a bit.

yes, my thoughts exactly. When I had the tower out last week to blow the dust out of it (processor heat sink nearly blocked by crud :-0 ), i noticed atleast two unused expansion slots, so may tripple the memory. The build sheet for my 6 year old computer says the memory chips are DDR 2700 memory.
I considered the custom Nero install, but was afraid I am not computer savvy enough to know what to check and what to uncheck. Would the instructions be simple enough that even I might understand ?? Any tips on what to install for only simple DVD burning jobs ??
TIA
