Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I just installed a new HP dvd 1140i dvd writer to replace a failed CD drive.
The unit looks / works good, but the Nero 8 software that was packaged with it is a real mess.
It slowed this older computer with only 256 of memory almost to a stop.
A google search tells to disable Nero Scout which gets the speed back up, but the Nero program messes with other audio / video programs on the computer, it more or less takes over.
I need advice on which other DVD burner software will allow me to use this drive to burn DVD's. Would perfer something simple and free ;-).
Google shows a lot of free DVD burner software, but what works and is safe / bug free ?
