Sounds like you unplugged the internet cable from the PC and into the router, then added another cable from the router to the PC.

First & simplest is un plug router for a min to reset.

Explorer is failing to find the internet at the back of the PC - it needs to find it at the back of the router - simple address change.

The disk that comes with the router should walk you thru it.
