MW ON | Mother-in-law shared this one with us recently. I tweaked it a bit, and the family enjoyed it, so it's become a stand-by.
1-2-3-4 Casserole
1 lb ground beef
2 onions
3 carrots
4 potatoes
1 tin mushroom soup + 1/2 can milk
1 package onion soup mix
Mix ground beef with 1 package onion soup mix, place in bottom of casserole. Slice veggies thinly and place in order given on top of meat. Mix soup and milk together, and pour over all. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serves 6.
I tried it in the crock pot, and it worked well.
It came from one of her church cookbooks, those have to be the best!
