I installed the AFX rotor upgrade kit we spoke about earlier. I really did have good intentions of taking pictures and posting here but I never had the camera in the shop when I got ready to shove the rotor back in. It looks like it will get the crop into the threshing area where it belongs but, it still won't correct for the timing error of the flight to rasp bars. I think that would help a little more but that would be a rather extensive project.
I had a visit with Ron about the new Kile Flight he was working on for the AFX. He mentioned sending me a set when he gets them in. I tried to email him to explain what I was doing to my rotor and make sure he thought his flight would still fit. He never responded back yet. I like his replaceable leading edge much better than the throw away flights that come OEM.
Hope we get going in harvest one of these days?
