East Central, Nebraska | i wouldn't add an additional battery that doesn't match the other two. i have a dodge pickup with a electric bale bed. the pickup has two fairly large batteries on it from the factory, and the bale bed had room for a smaller (dimension wise and CCA wise) 12v battery and i had lots of problems with batteries and alternators over the years. i ended up taking out the smaller battery and have not had problems in years. by auto mechanic advised against it and i did it and learned my lesson.
