Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | To each their own. Just yesterday, my great nephew asked my opinion of going from ground drive to electric drive. My opinion is that electric or hydraulic (we're short on SCV's) are probably alright, but I didn't see much advantage. I wouldn't vary the rate across the field anyway. We just put on new chains yesterday and plan on using ground drive again this year.
Now if I had purchased a planter that had hydraulic drive, I wouldn't remove it and go back to ground drive. |
