Maybe there are other reasons besides just flat price to be moving the physical.   Like, time spent trucking and sweeping bins has a different value now than 60-90 days from now in planting/sprayng/haying season.    And deposit slips have zero percent chance of going out of condition when it's 80 degrees, 80% humidity.

There you go. Those are reasonable points. I don't think most of the responders even read the question.



I read your question. I thought you wanted to know how to reown grain sold. I didn’t realize you wanted to know the reasons you wanted to do it. I kinda figured you already knew your own reasons for wanting to do it.
