I just read an article in this weeks issue of Business Week concerning Apples sales. According to a marketing research group Mac's accounted for 18.9% of all laptops and desktops sold in U.S. retail outlets. For computers priced above $1000, Apple's share was an astonishing 89%! CEO Steve Jobs has dismissed the low end of the market, saying: "We don't know how to build a sub-$500 computer that is not a piece of junk."
