Silver bullets after a long hot day, IPA's otherwise. Living 2 hrs from Portland or Bend and 1/2hr from hood river provides a virtually unlimited amount of ipa choices (or any other craft beer) anymore. Heck there are now 3 breweries in The Dalles. Laurelwood workhorse IPA is one of my favorites. This winters trend seems to be Hazy IPA's which are generally good.
