First house I built (I general contracted, and we did much of work) I put insulation in every wall, interior too. I hate noise, and it helps tremendously in that department.
It’s rediculous you garage isn’t insulated. Throw your current door away and buy an insulated one.
They build garages like yours in Las Vegas, first thing the second owner does is insulate garage all around..Heat in summer is relentless.
My apologies if i sound rude one this, but in the Grand scheme of house building, simple small things add up big, but insulation should not be one that gets overlooked, undervalued.
There really are few good contractors in this world. Fewer HVAC guys. We were all told to be doctors and lawyers 25 years ago, definitely paying the price for that ignorance today!
