N.C. IA		Your sentiment is primarily what brings on mid-life crisis. JMHO, Just a handful of years older than you and that's when I could have written your post word for word. Also seems like old guys around here die in groups and when a group you're close to checks out, it gets a bit difficult for a while till you work through it. I stopped at a local c-store about 6 years ago, seen an old guy (retired farmer) I knew real well sitting by himself in a booth. He usually had coffee with a couple guys that were retired from working in town, I asked him where his buddies were. His reply...."they're all out there on the hill" pointing to the 'hill' a mile outside of town. I kind of laughed a little, but inside I was crying. The old guy passed away a couple years ago at about 92. The cycle of life continues.....
