NC ND | Think we found part of the reason leading to an earlier question about high propane useage in my house.
No sheeting, lower rail to hold the siding was rotted off, 7/16" or so insulation board untaped and varmit eaten. Wall inulation was 2x4 in a 2x6 wall and not covering the whole cavity. Studs are 16” centers, sometimes 14, maybe 18". Not necessarily straight either. Who builds like that?
Hopefully won't feel a cold breeze across the floor this winter.
