Westport, IN | I occasionally work in clean rooms. We don't shower, but process is similar. Like someone said remove shoes and swing legs over bench. Enter an ante room close door, undress, step into shower, step out other side and dress with work clothes, use bench again to put on work shoes.
When light is on doors could lock to prevent accidental entry. A obscure switch could be mounted out side the shower to allow opening the doors of lights are inadvertently left on.
You could use a flow sensor to have indicators showing shower in use. Lights on also show someone on the rooms, and make doorways so sound could travel easily to verbally check.
