This is the strip-till bar that I built several years ago. It does not have parallel & they're something I wouldn't worry about, even on our very rolling ground.

As you can see this one was made from a 7000 planter frame. I think you'll find that the stock tongue won't hold up to the draft of 6 mole knives. Also the 7x7 planter bar isn't real good for mounting to as well as being too low to the ground. This tongue is a salvaged DMI. Since this picture, I've installed Progressive disk sealers that work a LOT better than the original DMI's.

I originally made the bar to use a set of JD dry fertilizer boxes & drop a dry blend into the strip. Test strips of both liquid & dry material over a several year period showed no yield advantage to the same analysis broadcast, so the dry boxes never made it on.
