Dawn, Missouri | If you want to get friendly the corn market come to north Missouri and take a short walk this afternoon. The NWS projected 92. It has been 97 the last 3 hours with wind and the humidity has dropped to 25%. In 1983 and 88 we burnt up the local corn crop in 3 days with 102-105 degrees, wind 20 MPH and 15-25% humidity with moisture in the ground! Corn crop locally is taking a big hit. NWS says, 30% chance of rain Friday nite. Usually project .1 to .25 unless you are under a thunderstorm!!! Pray for rain! | |
