I think some of the costs have come down. Fertilizer is less then half what it was in 2012. Some seed hasn't come down but there is a lot more double pro being planted around here and that is close to 1/3 lower then it was at the high. It seems like there are a few guys that ignore what their cash flows tell them and they will just pay whatever it takes to rent the land regardless if they are losing money. Where were the rent prices when we had $3.00 corn in 2006 compared to today? I don't think there is anything we can do about healthcare, insurance and parts.
