The tooth fairy always brought me 4 quarters. My oldest is 7 now and when he lost his first a couple of years ago, the tooth fairy brought him a dollar as well. Soon after, the tooth fairy heard from several different sources that inflation has affected teeth and they are worth much more than a dollar now. He’s been getting $5 each after that first one including another one 2 days ago.
