Yep I know what you mean. We farm some, half of which is high maintenance bottom ground that we spend a lot of time pumping water and all that goes along with farming below river level. We have cattle and do dirt work and tiling. We have 3 families trying to make a living off not a whole lot of ground. Wives all stay home so the kids aren't spending their childhood at daycare. Seems we work all the time but it's a life we love. Most days it never seems like work. We are fortunate a lot of days the kids can go along for a bit and that makes it all worth it.
