I knew a guy in the Navy that had a new at the time (2004ish) GMC 1500 2wd. Had airbrushed on the entire tailgate Calvin pissing on Ford, Dodge and yes, Chevy too. We tried to tell him it was identical to a Chevy but he wouldn’t hear it. He swore the body panels were thicker, the suspension was different and the engine was more powerful. I guess it takes all kinds.
