I had a herniated disk. I put up with it for 12 years. Did everything under the sun before surgery. Surgery was the only thing that fixed mine.
Good luck with what ever you decide.
I couldn't walk from thanksgiving until sometime in January been good ever since. Only walking I did was to get to the bathroom
