At my wits end | I must be unlucky. I've been drawn several times. Most often I get dismissed as I'm not the most emotional person and the usual question of "how comfortable are you sending someone away to be punished based on evidence?" is answered by "absolutely comfortable". One defense attorney asked me if the possibility of innocent people being sent to prison worried me. I replied that in light of that possibility that she should make sure and do her job well. Wasn't trying to be funny, but the judge started chuckling. Needless to say I was sent home. I always do my duty, but I hate jury duty. | |
