EC SoDak | For me, the goal should be to get costs under control and grow a lot. Yes, prices are cheaper, but it’s a world market now and high prices just encourage production else where. Those “elsewheres” yields are only going to go up along with cheaper labor/inputs/etc so their breakeven drops more. We would lose our ability to compete. Look at SA as an example, we lost a lot of ground in the export market to them. | |
