North Central Illinois | Call it whatever you want. Wishing for a frost, cheerleading for a frost, hyping the weather as a last resort, etc., etc.. It all boils down to the same thing. There is nothing inherently wrong with talking about the weather but a certain few people with the same old agenda have been trying to get a frost scare going for over a week now. If you look at the facts there really isn't that big of a chance of meaningful frost in high production areas in the next ten days. Nothing wrong with mentioning the fact that there is a slight possibility but there appear to be far too many people clinging to the hope of an early frost to salvage their marketing short comings. Ask yourself this. Would someone who owns three or four old crops have an agenda to wish destruction on others to push prices higher? | |
