Freezing Meat

Subject: Freezing Meat

If you fix a steak, t-bone, or New York Strip or any other steak on the grill,  would it taste the same if it had been frozen for 90 days??  
We live about 10 minutes away from a really nice meat shop.  My wife thinks we should stock up and freeze it.
Its so easy to stop by and pick up something for the grill...just wondering everyone's  opinion
