no bank that I know of will finance over $3500/ acre. So just remember you better have the $1500 an acre in a safe deposit box if you are going to buy $5000/ acre land. On a side note land is declining at least here. I would not chase this thing lower. We could lose another 40% at least in this area. There is land for sale all over the place. . Right now, I think a guy might just get laughed out of the bankers office for asking about financing land, even if you had some paid for to leverage it with. And if you did have some to leverage I'm not sure it would be the wisest move at the present time. |
