What happens to the value of the 10.20 put he owns if beans go to $6? EDIT: Guess I do see what you're saying. The 10.20 put saves him from margin calls........but it doesn't protect the price of his beans in the field beyond that spread amount. At $6 beans he will receive $7.20.
