eastern south central KS | Sorghum acres are being impacted in a big way by the sugar cane aphid. Having to do two expensive spray passes and then maybe still not being rid of them is not turning out to be a attractive alternative to just going the way of low population dryland corn. Also, after a period of selling at a premium to corn due to export demand we are now back to seeing sorghum at a substantial price discount. | |
