Your soil likes to tie up the applied phosphorus. Definitely band it if you can. The P1 is the available and P2 is like your storage tank, it's there but not available to use at this time. You have an ample amount there, it's just tied up. If you divide P1 by P2, that will give you the percentage that will be available if you add more. That is why the band is much better, less dirt to tie it up. An example, on KQ3, divide 24 by 116 and you get about 21%. If you broadcast the phosphorus you will only get about 21% of applied lbs available to the crop. I hope this makes sense.

If this were my field, I would band about 100 lbs of map close to the row as I could get it. I would not broadcast as it will be tough to build your P1. Keep an eye on the changes in P1 and P2 levels. Remember the ppm in P2 will eventually move to the P1 side.

On the high pH tests, they give you the Olsen value, that is much more accurate for those 7.5 pH samples. It is still nice to see the bray test to see what is or how much is being tied up, unfortunately a lot is.
