NESD
Cutting out the first middleman is fairly easy, cutting out the next level or two is daunting. I can build bins and deliver to ethanol or bean processors, or even feed some animals. Anything after that takes deep pockets. I suppose some are doing it on a small scale with wine, farmers markets or other small scale business. If some business wants to come in and contract with me to grow what they need I guess that's fine. I could see that going to far and the end user knowing to much and taking over eventually somehow. I guess it would be "farmer beware" when you go into some contract growing.
