Sounds like ours.
Tile started coming off after 10 years??
We stripped them all off and went with a quick relatively inexpensive fix (times dictate that sometimes)
So we bought a length of vinyl flooring and glued it to the wall bending it as much as we could around the corners.
Been that way for 25 years now and looks as good now as when it was new.
