We have done it several times, not as good as fresh, but better than any corn you get in a restaurant.... Never had it be shriveled or anything...
We husk and clean and blanch as you would if you where taking it off the cob to freeze, then just throw it in bags and vacuum pack.... Vacuum pack might be the key, I dunno.... Either way it is good!
