Embarrass WI | One of my wife's friends told her to just pick it and stick in a bag, vacuum seal it and stick it in the freezer. Claimed it was just like fresh when you got it out and cooked it.
We tried it one year, when we got it out and cooked it, it was barely edible. Noting at all like fresh corn. Not as good as corn out of a can. We took the rest out of the freezer and threw it away.
I don't want to have the cob taking freezer space, but if I was to do it, I would blanch it first. | |
