37.5% seems very lite to me and does not match with a % of production plus some carry over 2014 bushels.
Here's what I heard from a local to my south last week,
55-65% of the corn and wheat left in the bins, normalish would be the most UN-priced.
15-20% on the beans.
Very little new crop sold.
I have been told locally less 5% of producers would use futures or options account.
Manager IMO has a pretty good feel on local acres and crop size as to what's going on out in the country. | |
